SMS Messaging Policy

Playvent uses text messaging to help organizations communicate with participants, parents, and guests. We send only messages related to the activities, registrations, forms, reminders, and communications you choose to participate in.
How You Opt In
You may consent to receive text messages from Playvent by:
- Starting a text conversation with Playvent.
- Providing your phone number through Playvent during registration, account creation, or while completing forms.
- Registering for or participating in an activity managed through Playvent.
- Replying YES or otherwise confirming your consent when requested.
Where required by law, Playvent or the organization using Playvent will obtain your express consent before sending recurring text messages.
Types of Messages
Depending on your activity, you may receive messages such as:
- Registration confirmations
- Forms by Text™ conversations
- Event or activity invitations
- RSVP confirmations
- Schedule changes
- Reminders
- Organizer communications
- Pickup or operational notifications
- Responses to questions you send to Playvent
Message frequency varies depending on your participation and the organizations you interact with.
Message Charges
Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier’s plan.
Opting Out
You may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:
- STOP — unsubscribe from SMS messages
- HELP — receive assistance or support information

Consent Records
Playvent maintains records of SMS consent, including the method and time consent was provided, in order to comply with applicable laws and honor your communication preferences.
